Astro 101
This beginner-level course is an introduction to the language of astrology.
Like any language, astrology has parts of speech. These consist of the signs, the planets, the houses, and the astrological aspects. Astro 101 is your introduction to these core concepts, and it will also teach you how these various parts of speech fit together to make astrological sentences.
Whether you want to learn astrology for personal growth or become a professional astrologer, this course teaches the foundational material of every successful astrology practice. Students emerge from this course with the ability to do beginner-level natal chart readings.
This course consists of pre-recorded videos which students watch before class each week, and a weekly live call in which we apply the recorded material to participants’ natal charts. The primary text for this course is The Inner Sky by Steven Forrest. This course is the prerequisite for Starcrow Astrology’s 20-week Apprenticeship Program.
